2019 Dog Licenses Now Available In Tewksbury

Tewksbury Town Clerk Denise Graffeo, reminds dog owners it is that time of the year when all dogs (6 months of age or over) must be licensed. The license is valid for one calendar year (January 1st – December 31st), and must be renewed annually. Dog license renewals are due by March 15th, after which late fees will be assessed. Dogs six months of age or older that are new to Town must be licensed within 30 days and may be licensed at any time throughout the year without incurring a late fee.
Licensing fees are as follows:
|January 1st - March 15th||March 16th – July 1st||July 2nd – December 31st|
|Spayed or Neutered||$15||$20||$30|
|Not Spayed or Neutered||$20||$25||$35|
A dog owner applying for a license shall be obligated to pay all outstanding dog license fees relating to the past licensing period (2018) and any outstanding violation notices.
A current Rabies Certificate as well as a Certificate of Spaying or Neutering must be presented before a dog license may be issued, unless currently on file in this office. If in doubt, contact 978-640-4355 or email email@example.com.
For your convenience, you may prefer to license your dog online or by mail. Once received, Town Clerk Staff will print and mail the license and tag. Below is a link to the online portal: Online Dog Licensing.
If licensing by mail, please include:
- License Fee
- Current Rabies Certificate (unless currently on file)
- Certificate of Spaying or Neutering, if applicable (unless currently on file)
- A self-addressed stamped envelope
