Tewksbury Officials Join Leaders From Circle Health To Cut Ribbon On New Outpatient Center

Leaders from Circle Health and Lowell General hospital joined local and state officials at the new Circle Health Tewksbury on Wednesday, Feb. 13, for a ceremonial ribbon cutting to celebrate the outpatient center’s official opening next week.
Circle Health Tewksbury opens to patients Tuesday, Feb. 19, and will include:
* The Tewksbury Family Health primary care practice, led by Dr. Lourdes Ada and longtime Tewksbury resident Dr. John Ragucci
* Circle Health Urgent Care
* And a Lowell General Hospital Patient Service Center for imaging and diagnostic tests
“Lowell General Hospital has always provided healthcare for Tewksbury residents, and we are excited to be able to now expand access to Circle Health and Lowell General Hospital services in this convenient location,” Circle Health and Lowell General Hospital CEO Jody White said. “This outpatient center represents the next step in our effort to coordinate care for the communities we serve.”
It is the fourth outpatient center created by Circle Health in the past five years, following similar sites in Westford (2014), Billerica (2017) and Dracut (2018).
The public will have the chance to get a sneak peek at the new facility at a Community Open House on Saturday, Feb. 16, from 10 a.m. to noon that will feature health screenings, building tours, raffle prizes from area businesses and family activities. The event is free.
