STATE TOURNAMENT: Tewksbury High Girls Seeded 2nd in D2 North, Shawsheen Tech 5th in D3

 The Tewksbury High girls basketball team heads into the postseason, seeded 2nd among 10 teams in the Division 2 North Tournament.
The Redmen, who put together a 17-3 regular season, get a first round bye, before playing host to either No. 7 Saugus (13-7) or No. 10 Marblehead (10-10) in a quarterfinal contest, on Thursday, Feb. 28, at 7 p.m.
Pentucket Regional is the top seed, with a 19-3 record.

Division 3 North Girls
Shawsheen Tech has grabbed the 5th seed in the D3 North Tournament. The Rams (12-8) will play host to No. 12 Watertown (8-12) in the opening round on Tuesday, Feb. 27, at 7 p.m.
With a win, Shawsheen Tech will advance to the quarterfinals, where it travel to Lynn to take on No. 4 St. Mary's (14-6) on Friday, March 1.

Division 3 North Boys
Shawsheen Tech (17-3) is seeded No. 3 in the Division 3 North Tournament. The Rams will play host to No. 14 Wilmington (5-15) in the first round on Tuesday, Feb. 26, at 7 p.m.
With a win, the Rams would advance to the quarterfinals at home against either No. 6 Hamilton-Wenham (12-8) or No. 11 Triton Regional (10-10).
