To the Editor:
It’s been said that if you want to get a job done, and done right, give it to a busy person. A busy person is usually busy because he/she is driven, works hard, has a strong work ethic, and isn’t afraid to make decisions. Such a person takes on jobs that need to be done.
Jayne Wellman Miller is such a person. She has taken on many jobs and has excelled at all of them. Among her many accomplishments are: Town Moderator, School Committee member, co-founder of Tewksbury Rail Trail, former news editor and reporter for the Wilmington and Tewksbury Town Crier newspapers, and former president of Tewksbury Rotary Club.
Jayne is motivated to do her many jobs by her love of Tewksbury. She has made Tewksbury her home for the last 18 years. She has raised her children here, and has been a volunteer in community activities for the last 13 years. She has a degree in economics and works as the Business Administrator for the Town of Reading.
We feel that Jayne is the kind of person we want working as Selectman for the Town of Tewksbury. She will work to bring tax relief to seniors, help disabled veterans with property tax and CPA surcharge exemptions. For these reasons and many more, we gladly support Jayne Wellman Miller for Tewksbury Selectman.
