To The Editor:
Good leaders have a passion for what they are doing. Their job is doing what they love most and they have wrapped their lives around it. Anne Marie Stronach has such a passion for the Town of Tewksbury. She has lived in Tewksbury for 34 years. She has a husband, Rick Stronach, and two children – Connor who graduated from Tewksbury Memorial High School and got an engineering degree from Rensselaer Polytech Institute, and Nicholas who graduated from Shawsheen Technical High School and got a degree in Occupational Safety from Keene State.
Anne Marie is the Chief Operating Officer for the Lawrence Public School District. She is responsible for Human Resources, Facilities & Maintenance, Transportation, School Safety, Nutrition Services and Information & Technology. She handles a 30 million dollar budget and is accountable for several hundred employees. She brings these job skills to the Tewksbury Board of Selectmen.
Anne Marie is a tireless worker and has served on many committees. A few examples include:
Selectmen Representative to the Public Events and Celebrations Committee, Annual Fall Harvest Festival, Elementary Building Committee, Local Housing, and the Tewksbury Public Events Committee.
She demands both fiscal accountability and prudent spending of the various town departments. She is experienced in financial matters and is what we need on the Tewksbury Board of Selectmen. She is tireless and passionate in her love of Tewksbury. For these reasons we endorse Anne Marie Stronach for another term on the Tewksbury Board of Selectmen.
