 Earlier this month, candidates for the Board of Selectmen, Board of Health and School Committee gathered at the Tewksbury Town Hall for 2019 Municipal Election Debates.
The event was sponsored, cooperatively, by the Tewksbury-Wilmington Chamber of Commerce, the Tewksbury Republican Town Committee and the Tewksbury Democratic Town Committee.
Candidates taking part included Board of Selectmen incumbents Anne Marie Stronach and Todd Johnson and challenger Jayne Wellman Miller, School Committee Candidate John Stadtman, Board of Health incumbent George Ferdinand and challengers Kylee Perrotta and Maria Zaroulis.
Candidates unable to attend were school committee candidate Shannon Demos and Board of Health incumbent Anthony Boschetti.
Panelists were Bill Gilman, publisher/editor of Your Tewksbury Today, Cassia Burns of the Town Crier and Rosalyn Impink of Tewksbury High's Tewksbury Tribune. The moderator was Tom Zuppa, editor of the Lowell Sun.
