Tewksbury PD Smacks Down Two More Alleged Heroin Traffickers

(Editor's note: The following information was released by the Tewksbury Police Department. Arrests to not necessarily indicate guilt.)
On April 1, 2019 the Tewksbury Police Department arrested the following individuals;
Brandon M. Fernandez 25 of 60 Mill St. Greenville, NH. for trafficking of a Class A substance(heroin) over 18 grams, an outstanding warrant for possession of a Class A substance, and failure to signal.
Samantha R. Newton 25 of 60 Mill St. Greenville, NH. for trafficking of a Class A substance(heroin) over 18 grams.
Detectives were conducting surveillance in the parking lot of the Circle K Gas Station, located at 1795 Andover St. for the purpose of drug interdiction. During surveillance, detectives observed what they believed to be possible drug activity. A motor vehicle stop was conducted, at which time through further investigation Fernandez and Newton were subsequently arrested for the listed offenses. 25 grams of heroin was recovered.
Fernandez and Newton were arraigned at Lowell District Court on April 2, 2019.
