20 of Tewksbury's top athletes will gather in Hopkinton, Monday morning, to take part in one of the America's greatest traditions.
The 123rd running of the Boston Marathon will feature 10s of thousands of runners, both official entrants and unofficial participants.
Like the vast majority of the participants, the Tewksbury runners won't be competing for the famed laurel wreaths. However, many are running for a much higher purpose -- raising money for charities doing amazing work for those in most need.
Here are just a few examples:
Robin Kavanaugh is running for Team 50 Legsthe group founded by Steve Chamberlain to provide prothetic limbs for children.

Lauren Spencer will be running for the second time to raise money for the New England Patriots Foundation, which does amazing work on a variety of fronts.

Jonathan Duggan, Erin Teahan and Toni Wood will all be participating as part of the Dana Farber Marathon Challenge team, raising funds for cancer research.

Nick Ciaramella will be participating on Mass. General Hospital's Pediatric Hematology and Oncology Team.

Below is the complete list of Tewksbury runners participating in the Boston Marathon, along with their bib numbers. Click here to follow the progress of your favorite runners.
