TEWKSBURY – RABIES INOCULATION CLINIC – DOGS AND CATS

A rabies inoculation clinic for dogs and cats has been scheduled for SATURDAY, JUNE 8, 2019 from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM, at the Tewksbury Senior Center, 175 Chandler Street.  Licensed Veterinarians from Shawsheen Animal Hospital will be providing the services.  PLEASE REMEMBER TO BRING YOUR PET’S PREVIOUSLY ISSUED RABIES CERTIFICATE which will determine whether the animal will receive a 1 year or 3 year vaccination series.  Please be advised that if your pet has received a 3yr vaccination at any point in the past, it is eligible to receive the 3 year vaccine again.  You must provide proof at the time of vaccination. Dogs must be at least six (6) months of age.  All dogs must be on a leash.  Cats must be in a cage or box, or hand held and restrained by the owner.  The fee is $15.00 per dog or cat.  The fee for a microchip is $20.  For the dog owner’s convenience, Town Clerk Staff will be there to issue 2019 Annual Dog Licenses.  If the rabies clinic has to be cancelled, due to inclement weather, the cancellation notice will be publicized on the town website www.tewksbury-ma.gov
