Tewksbury 2019 Annual Town Meeting
Monday, May 6, 2019, 7:30 p.m. and Wednesday, May 8, 2019, 7:30 p.m.
Special Town Meeting
Wednesday, May 8, 2019, 7 p.m.
Tewksbury Memorial High School
Voters will be asked to decide on 40 articles on the Annual Town Meeting Warrant and 3 articles on the Special Town Meeting Warrant.
On Monday, voters will be dealing with articles in the following categories:
- Consent Calendar Articles
- Annual Budget
- Budget Related Articles
- Personnel Bylaw Amendments
- Town Bylaw Amendments
- General Articles
On Wednesday, voters will be addressing the articles dealing with Zoning Bylaw Amendments.

In an effort to reduce waste, please bring a copy of the Annual & Special Town Meeting Warrants with you. There will be a limited amount of copies available at these meetings.
New Town Moderator To Be Elected
Because Jayne Wellman Miller was elected to the Board of Selectmen, she has esigned her position as Town Moderator and a new moderator will be elected from the floor to oversee the meeting.
Town Meeting Check-in Information
Town Clerk, Denise Graffeo would like to remind voters that we will once again use our electronic Poll Pads to check-in voters for the May 6 & 8, 2019 Annual and May 8, 2019 Special Town Meetings. You may use your Massachusetts Driver’s License to check-in. This is not an ID requirement, but rather a way to accelerate the check-in process. Simply have your license ready to give to the check-in staff to be scanned by the Poll Pad. If you choose, you may still check-in by stating your name and address. Either way, checking in to Town Meeting will be faster and easier!
The last day to register to vote to be eligible for the May 6th & 8th Annual Town Meeting was Friday, March 15th.
The last day to register to vote to be eligible for the May 8th Special Town Meeting was Friday, April 27th.

Shuttle Bus and Parking Information
The Annual Town Meeting begins at 7:30 PM on Monday, May 6th at the Tewksbury
Memorial High School, 320 Pleasant Street. Voter check-in will begin at 6:30 PM. Attendance is expected to be very high, and parking will be at a premium. It is suggested that carpooling,
if possible, may be your most convenient way to arrive, park, and check-in to be seated in a timely manner. Please be advised that parking will not be allowed at the entrance to the High School parking lot or on either side of Pleasant Street. There will be additional voter parking at the Ryan School; the Town Hall; and the Town Hall Annex. A shuttle bus will pick up passengers at these locations beginning at 6:45 PM and at approximately 15 minute intervals thereafter.
