Senior Center To Host Silvertones Hawaiian Holiday!

The Tewksbury Senior Center will host the SilverTones Hawaiian Holiday on Friday, May 17 from 7-10pm for Adult Listening and Dancing pleasure. This 19 piece orchestra of professional volunteer musicians, with BBBRAXTEN as its vocalist, formed 18 years ago as a service to the town residents to provide quality music, in a comfortable, casual setting, inexpensively.
MaryBeth Foley-Cummings is it’s musical director/conductor/and tenor sax player.. Enjoy jitterbug, waltz, Latin, jazz, polka, fox trot music along with line -dance tunes. Attendees are encouraged to bring along their favorite beverages and glassware, along with snacks to the beautiful Center and huge dance floor located at 175 Chandler St.
The ice machine is free , and coffee/tea and cake are served at the 2nd band break at 9 pm. There is a $1 soda machine on site.
Admission is $10 per person with a door prize (2 free admissions), and a 50/50 raffle . Those wearing floral apparel/top/shirt at this Hawaiian Holiday will have a chance to win $10 lottery tickets. The building is fully handicapped accessible with a lighted parking lot. Come alone, or with  friends or meet new ones  and enjoy the best Big Band Music in the area. Each evening closes with a grand circle to “God Bless America”. Come join the fun. Doors open at 6:30 pm.
