TEWKSBURY, MA – The Tewksbury Community Market, located on the front lawn of the Tewksbury Public Library (300 Chandler Street), is open this Tuesday, June 25, 2019 from 4pm to 7pm. The Market will be open on Tuesdays through the end of September.
This week’s featured vendors include Jones Farm, Tewksbury Honey, Sweet Lydia's, Fudge ‘N Stuff (season debut), Scents Delivered, and Usborne Book & More, plus the Tewksbury Public Library Community Garden. The Market will grow in vendors as the season moves on.
The market will be hosting baby goats from 4:30pm to 6:30pm. You'll have a chance to mix and mingle with these friendly goat kids from Chip-in Farm & pose for photos with them. While this experience is FREE, you’re encouraged to shop at our wonderful vendors while you wait for your turn. First come, first serve. No reservations. Be prepared to wait in a line. Children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult. Farm staff will require anyone not following their rules to leave the pen. Bring your own camera! Overflow parking can be found in the field across from the library’s parking lot. Look for the signs.
Holistic Health and Nutrition Chef Julia Grimaldi, owner of Julia’s Wellness Kitchen, will speak inside the library’s Meeting Room at 7pm, discussing how to create essential health habits that will support and sustain a strong body, positive mindset, and continuous self-care. You’ll leave with helpful tips that will assist you in reaching your desired health and well-being.
Miss Heather, of the library’s Children’s Room, will hold a Pajamarama Storytime for little ones at 7pm in the library’s Storytime Room.
