Happiness is ... great musical theatre.
And when the cast includes talented local young actors, it's even better!
A trio of Tewksbury students will be featured in the Voices of Hope Youth production of "YOU'RE A GOOD MAN, CHARLIE BROWN," this week at The Everett Mill, 15 Union Street, 5th Floor, Lawrence.
The show is being directed by Jon DiPrima, an 8th grade ELA teacher and drama director at the Wynn Middle School in Tewksbury.
But that's not the only local connection, as a trio of Tewksbury youngsters are featured in the cast. Darren Castiglione takes on the role of Linus Van Pelt, Jacquelyn Guy plays Eudora, while Kayleigh Nagle plays the Little Red-Haired Girl, who Charlie Brown seems eternally doomed to love from afar.
With charm, wit, and heart, YOU'RE A GOOD MAN, CHARLIE BROWN explores life through the eyes of Charlie Brown and his friends in the Peanuts gang. This revue of songs and vignettes is based on the beloved Charles Schulz comic strip. Musical numbers include "My New Philosophy," "My Blanket and Me," "The Kite," "Suppertime," "Happiness" and more. Guaranteed to please audiences of all ages!
More than just a good time, the show is also helping a good cause. Proceeds from the performances will benefit the Henri and Belinda Termeer Center for Targeted Therapies at the Mass General Cancer Center.
This group of talented young performers are spending their summer in rehearsal, singing and dancing—while understanding that they are making a difference in the fight against cancer. They are looking forward to seeing their hard work help others in need.

There will be 4 performances of the show:
