Tewksbury Farmers Market

TEWKSBURY, MA – The Tewksbury Community Market, located on the front lawn of the Tewksbury Public Library (300 Chandler Street), is open this Tuesday, August 6, 2019, from 4pm to 7pm. Make sure to stop by before or after you visit the Tewksbury Police Department’s National Night Out at Tewksbury High.

This week’s featured vendors include Fudge ‘n Stuff, Jones Farm, NYR Organics, Peacock Chalk, Tewksbury Florist & Greenery, Scents Delivered, and Sweet Lydia’s, plus the Tewksbury Public Library’s Community Garden. (Dargoonian Farm, Juice Box Diva, KC Styles, Tewksbury Honey, and the Kona Ice Truck will be back with us on August 13.)

Tewksbury’s own Jason Pratt will be performing from 5pm to 7pm on the library's patio, right next to the market. Bring your own chair or blanket. (A limited supply of chairs will be available.) Jason’s vocals and guitar skills are sure to impress you. Jason is a graduate of Berklee College of Music; a licensed music teacher; a private instructor for guitar, bass and songwriting; and music director for a local a cappella group.

Cheryl Major, a certified nutrition and wellness coach, will speak at 7pm inside the library’s Meeting Room. Cheryl will chronicle her personal recovery from years of struggle with chronic depression by changing what she eats. She will share the steps she took and include important information about how food affects us both mentally, not just physically. Major is the author of "Eat Your Blues Away: Disappearing Depression by Changing How You Eat." She speaks publicly, hosts a podcast, holds teleseminars and writes and hosts a cable show, "Thin Strong Healthy." A book signing and selling will follow the event for those interested. Sponsored by the Friends of the Library.

Miss Heather, of the library’s Children’s Room, will hold a Pajama Storytime at 7pm in the library’s Story Time Room.

Learn about the Tewksbury Historical Society and Community Teamwork at the market’s Community Table this week.

The Market will be open on Tuesdays through the end of September.
