Phil Holub will perform from 5pm to 7pm on the library’s patio, right next to the market. Phil is a singer, songwriter and jazz guitarist who recently graduated from Berklee College of Music in Boston, MA. He is multi-talented, playing as a solo artist, with his band, Phil and the Hullaballoo, and with his jazz duo, the Holub-Thorsteinsson Duo. His original music is upbeat, quirky and catchy; but his true love has always been jazz. He plays the guitar with incredible skill and is always a joy to watch.

Sherlock Holmes has been fascinating audiences for 130 years.  What is it about this character that has made him a world famous phenomenon?  Join Sherlockian expert Robert Fritsch at 7pm in the library’s Meeting Room for all 'All Things Sherlock'. You will learn about Sherlock Holmes's main characters, including Holmes himself.  Highlights of the four novels and 56 short stories will be briefly examined, with emphasis on the women in Holmes life.  But the story of Sherlock is so much more than the literary works, which have not been out of print since they were first published! You will take a tour of it all, including the movies, TV shows, actors, magazines and Sherlockian Societies! This is a fun, fast-paced, interactive program and audience participation is welcomed. Sponsored by the Friends of the Library.

Miss Heather, of the library’s Children’s Room, will hold a Pajama Storytime at 7pm in the library’s Story Time Room.

Learn about The Power of Flowers Project at the market’s Community Table this week.

The Market will be open on Tuesdays through the end of September.
