Tewksbury Electric Car Show and Ride & Drive Event Set For Sept.14
The Tewksbury Public Library is partnering with the New England Electric Auto Association (NEEAA) to host a hybrid/electric car show and ride-and-drive event this Saturday, September 14, from 1pm to 4pm, in the library’s parking lot (300 Chandler Street).
Celebrate National Drive Electric Week with this unique opportunity to test drive a hybrid or electric car without the pressure of buying one. Hybrid/electric car owners will be present to share ownership experiences. Check out the new electric vehicle charging stations installed at the library this summer.
The New England Electric Auto Association, a non-profit chapter of the National Electric Auto Association, is one of over thirty electric car clubs across the country. Members will be on hand to discuss the environmental and economic benefits of driving electric and to answer any questions members of the public have about hybrid and electric cars.
This event is free and open to the public. No registration is required. Drop in anytime during the three hours to see some amazing vehicles, take a test drive (or test ride), meet local hybrid/electric car owners, and get all your electric vehicle questions answered.
