The Tewksbury Community Market, located on the front lawn of the Tewksbury Public Library (300 Chandler Street), is open this Tuesday, September 17, 2019, from 4pm to 7pm.

Three food trucks will be on hand -- Cupcake City (cupcakes), Kona Ice (flavored shaved ice), and the Shawsheen Tech (pizza, burgers, hot dogs, chicken nuggets, french fries).

This week’s featured vendors include Dargoonian Farm (veggies & flowers), Fudge ‘n Stuff (fudge, popcorn & granola), Juice Box Diva (accessories), KC Styles (jewelry & accessories), The Nana Bee (small quilted items), Peacock Chalk (signs & home décor), Scents Delivered (soaps & fragrancies), Seafood Express (seafood), Shiny Things (jewelry), Sweet Lydia’s (s’mores, marshmallows & candies), Tewksbury Florist & Greenery (flowers & plants), and Tewksbury Honey (honey), plus the Tewksbury Public Library’s Community Garden (vegetables).

A women’s self-defense group from Kwon’s Taekwondo will present demonstrations from 6:30pm to 7pm on the library’s patio, next to the market.

Miss Heather, of the library’s Children’s Room, will hold a Nighttime Craft from 6:30pm to 7:30pm in the library’s Craft Room.

Bruce Shick and Jackie Stone, Co-Founders of the Friends of Tewksbury Open Space, and Paige Impink, Co-Chair of the Tewksbury Open Space & Recreation Plan Committee, will discuss the best spots and trails in town to walk, run, hike and bike -- some you may be familiar with, others you are not – at 7pm in the library’s Meeting Room. The Market will be open on Tuesdays through the end of September.
