Tewksbury Job Seekers Network: Your Legal Rights During The Job Interview & Application Process (*RR)

Learn what your legal rights are during the interview process, including your rights related to disabilities and reasonable accommodations. What can - or can't - an employer legally ask? What are your options if an employer engages in an unlawful line of questioning? What are your legal remedies if your rights are violated? Led by Melissa Pomfred, principal at Pomfred Law Offices, PLLC, where she advises and represents employees in every aspect of the employment relationship from hire through separation, and if necessary, through litigation. Prior to starting Pomfred Law Offices, Melissa spent nine years working at legal aid in Central and Western Massachusetts fighting for the rights of employees. She received her J.D from the University of Connecticut School of Law, a Masters of Ed. from Boston University and a double-degree from UMASS at Amherst. Meet One Of James Patterson's Co-Authors! An Evening with Brendan DuBois (*RR)

Meet award-winning mystery/suspense author Brendan DuBois, who is currently working on a number of projects with New York Times bestselling author James Patterson. Their first two collaborations -- "The First Lady" and "The Cornwalls Are Gone" -- were released earlier this year. DuBois is currently working on another novel with Patterson, as well as a new Lewis Cole mystery novel and a number of short stories. He is a former newspaper reporter and a lifelong resident of New Hampshire, where he lives with his wife Mona, their hell-raising cat Bailey, and one happy English Springer Spaniel named Spencer. DuBois is also a one-time "Jeopardy!" game show champion. A book signing will take place after the presentation for those interested. Sponsored by the Friends of the Library.

Trahan School Night

We will take you on tours, play Book Bingo and you can find your teachers and/or principal, among other things.
