Tips for Safe Trick or Treating
If you're going 'Trick or Treating' at Halloween, remember these safety tips, so you can have fun and keep safe at the same time!
■Always go trick or treating with an adult
■Only go to houses where you or your friends know the residents
■Don’t knock on doors where there is a sign saying ‘NO callers’ or there are no outside lights on
■Stay in areas that are lit with streetlights - take a flashlight with you just in case
■Stay with your friends - don’t split into smaller groups unless an adult goes with you
■Do not talk to strangers on the street
■Don’t enter any house, stay on the doorstep
■Always look carefully before crossing the road, even if you are part of a group;
