Tewksbury Congregational Church To Host Community BreakfastOct 21, 2019 06:06AM ● By Bill Gilman
Next summer a group of mostly school aged
children from our community will travel on a mission trip to Clendenin WV where
in 2016 they were devastated by historic flooding. While there, the kids will
invest in hard work projects and demonstrate God’s love while also being
immersed in the culture. Through the platform of construction and home repair,
students have the opportunity to join in the continuing recovery of Clendenin,
and learn why they call it: “Almost Heaven, West Virginia”.
There is a fundraiser to help defray the costs of the trip, a COMMUNITY BREAKFAST from 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. on Sunday, November 3rd, 2019, at Tewksbury Congregational Church. A variety of pancakes, our best scrambled eggs, sausage and a choice of drinks will be served. Please stop by and meet some of the kids, enjoy a hearty breakfast, and support a very good cause. This event is a FREE WILL OFFERING (Pay as you can) with a suggested donation of $8 – single and $15 – family.
Please contact us if you want to more information on the mission trip, the fundraiser, or if your child might want to come with us on the trip.
