Tewksbury's Fall Cleanup Day A Huge Success With Close To 175 Volunteers

(Editor's note: The information and photos posted here was published by the Tewksbury Beautification Committee.)

There was a great turnout for Clean Up Day October 2019! Thanks to all who helped pick up trash, clear trails, pull invasives, and clean the Shawsheen River. Almost 175 people showed up and collected 2100+ nips as part of a special focus.

If you’d like to join the Beautification Committee for the spring clean up, email .

Special thanks to the TMHS International Club, TMHS Environmental Club, Friends of Tewksbury Open Space, Shawsheen River Watershed Association, Ryan School students and families, Lowell Catholic students and families, and the many residents and neighbors who pitched in all over town! Thanks, too, for the many helping hands which now are proudly part of our town common art project!
