Middlesex District Attorney’s Office Partners with Birthday Wishes to Wrap Gifts for Children Experiencing Homelessness

NATICK – Middlesex District Attorney Marian Ryan and staff recently partnered with Birthday Wishes to wrap birthday gifts for children experiencing homelessness. Volunteers from the Middlesex District Attorney’s office wrapped donated gifts for girls and boys between the ages of 1 and 17 years-old that will be delivered to kids across Massachusetts, Rhode Island and New Hampshire in celebration of their birthdays. The activity is part of the Middlesex District Attorney’s Office Gives Back program that connects staff volunteers with programs across the county that help the community.

About Birthday Wishes:

Birthday Wishes makes a difference in the lives of homeless children and their families by bringing them the joy of a birthday party. Birthday parties provide the opportunity for reflection, celebration, and hope. They are a common event in the lives of most families, but for children experiencing homelessness, families may be unable to maintain their routines and rituals. Birthday Wishes serves children living in more than 200 family shelters and transitional living facilities. Over 26,000 homeless children will experience a Birthday Wishes party each year.
