COVID-19: Tewksbury Grocery and Prescription Resources

Store shelves have been virtually empty during Market Basket's three-week-old employee rebellion and customer boycott.

 Please note that this handout is for informational purposes and not to provide endorsement. This list is not all inclusive and information on this list may change day-to-day. GROCERY
Market Basket
Currently as of March 16th the Tewksbury COA is still providing Friday trips to Market Basket. This service is operating as normal. Unfortunately, it does not protect you from social distancing but if you can drive and need food in your home, please call 978-640-4480, Senior Center for more info.
Walmart
Some Walmart’s have curbside grocery pickup, however the closest Walmart with this option is, Walmart Salem 326 N Broadway Salem, NH 03079; 603-894-5642
Whole Foods
• You will need a credit or debit card
• For residents who utilize EBT/TANF/WIC, you may be eligible for a discounted Prime membership. Check your eligibility here: https://www.amazon.com/l/16256994011
• For delivery, you must be an Amazon Prime member. You will need to sign into your account. o Prime will automatically determine delivery location based on your home address. Change the location if you would like delivery elsewhere.
• Prime offers 2-hour free delivery. This may vary during times of high demand. • There is no minimum order.
• You are eligible for in-store sale prices.
• Order online at https://delivery.wholefoodsmarket.com/ or by logging into your Amazon account. SNAP If recent loss of wages has changed your financial means of purchasing food, please consider applying for SNAP assistance. Applications can be completed online at https://dtaconnect.eohhs.mass.gov/

OTHER CONSIDERATIONS
This saves time and also reduces the physical demands of grocery shopping. This is an evolving industry, so please check the store websites for changes to services area. During times of high need, stores may also eliminate or reduce minimums or delivery charges.
