Sterling Man Arrested For Trafficking Fentanyl, Other Drug Charges
On May 14, 2020 the Tewksbury Police Department arrested Christopher Olds, 35, of 72 Justice Hill Rd., Sterling MA for trafficking fentanyl over 10 grams, possession with the intent to distribute a Class B substance, (buprenorphine), possession of a dangerous weapon, (spring assisted switch blade knife) and possession of a Class E substance, (alprazolam).
Officers responded to the Holiday Inn located at 4 Highwood drive for a well-being check on an individual who appeared to be under the influence. Officers conducted an investigation and located 63 grams of fentanyl, a knife, pellet gun and other narcotics.
Due to Olds intoxication he was sent to the hospital for evaluation and later placed into custody.
Olds is currently being held on $7,500 cash bail as he awaits his arraignment. He is due to be arraigned via teleconference on May 15, 2020.
