Tewksbury Restaurants Begin to Reopen with Outdoor Dining

In less than 3 days since Governor Baker announced the start of Phase 2 of the Reopening Plan, the Town of Tewksbury has approved 8 temporary licenses for outdoor dining and the extension of liquor licenses to the outdoor dining areas. The restaurants provided their seating plan, patron protection barriers, and other documents to the Town for an expedited review of their proposals. Representatives from the Town Manager’s Office, Police Department, Fire Department, Health Department, Building Department and Department of Public Works reviewed the plans and worked with the owners to open their businesses.

The 8 restaurants are:
  • Applebee’s Neighborhood Grill and Bar
  • Al Fresca’s Ristorante
  • Angelina’s Italian Restaurant
  • Jon Ryan’s Pub
  • Luna Rossa
  • Oscar’s Pinatas
  • TJ Callahan’s Pub
  • 99 Restaurant
Residents are encouraged to support these local businesses. For those restaurants that are interested in outdoor dining, please contact the Assistant Town Manager, Steve Sadwick, at
