Congressman Seth Moulton To Host Virtual Town Hall On Race

SALEM — On Monday  Congressman Seth Moulton, Dr. Alexandra Piñeros-Shields, and Rev. Dr. Andre Bennett are teaming up for a virtual town hall to discuss racial injustice, policing reform, and where we go from here. Seth and his guests will also answer questions via Facebook Live.



Dr. Alexandra Piñeros-Shields is the Executive Director of Essex County Community Organization (ECCO), and a Senior Lecturer in Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion at the Heller School for Social Policy and Management at Brandeis University. Under her leadership, ECCO has become a “laboratory for democracy guided by womanist, anti-racist, anti-imperialist principles."


Rev. Dr. Andre Bennett is the Pastor of Youth and Young Adults at Zion Baptist Church and the Co-founder and School Culture Director at Equity Lab Community Learning in Lynn. He is a key leader in the local Black Lives Matter movement, who joined the movement after an emotional conversation with his son about the death of Tamir Rice.
