Tewksbury Community Market To Hold Drive-Thru Market At Library This Week

Purple Carrot Bread Company

TEWKSBURY, MA -- The Tewksbury Community Market will be holding its next Drive-Thru Market on Tuesday, July 21, 2020, from 4pm to 7pm, outside the Tewksbury Public Library at 300 Chandler Street.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic and in an effort to continue to bring fresh and locally sourced food to our community, the Tewksbury Community Market will begin operating a weekly Drive-Thru Market where customers can pick up their pre-ordered food from the select list of vendors below. All sales are made directly through the vendors, and payments must be made in advance (exceptions can be made direct with the vendors on a case-by-case basis).

It's simple to participate in the Drive-Thru Market:

  • Visit www.tewksburymarket.com and click on “Drive-Thru Market Info.”

  • Sign up for a time slot on the website.

  • Pre-order & pre-pay with market vendors listed on the website. Please observe the listed deadlines.

  • Drive to the library's parking lot during your time slot.

  • Stay in your vehicle, pop your trunk, and the vendors will place your orders inside.

This week’s market has 9 vendors, including:

  • Purple Carrot Bread Company (assortment of breads & pastries)

  • Pleasant Valley Gardens Farm (fresh veggies)

  • Polish Prince Pierogi (pierogi)

  • Tewksbury Honey (honey)

  • Fudge 'n' Stuff (fudge, nuts, cashews)

  • KC StYles Accessories (jewelry & accessories)

  • Scents Delivered (soaps)

  • Usborne Books & More (kids books)

  • Kona Ice (shaved ice)

Additional vendors will participate in future markets.

Please note market organizers will transition to a traditional market with in-person shopping in August.
