Power Of Flowers Project Once Again Spreading Hope And Happiness!

It’s back to “spreading hope and happiness” for the volunteers at Power of Flowers Project. Learn how you can help…Visit

Good News! The Power Of Flowers Project has resumed efforts to spread hope and happiness to those in need. Once the COVID-19 quarantine started, POFP suspended operations to help keep their volunteers safe. They were also concerned for the health of the recipients of their signature bouquets: senior citizens and veterans in care communities throughout the Merrimack Valley and in Southern NH.

Michelle Silveira, the Executive Director, stated “We were grateful to be able to continue to reach out to those who felt even more isolated than ever before.  We have delivered over 2,800 handwritten notes to seniors and veterans in 39 elder care facilities and Meals on Wheels services in our communities but are now up and running creating our beautiful signature bouquets”.

With the health and safety of the Power of Flowers Project volunteers and recipients at the forefront, the organization is complying with guidelines set forth by Governor of Massachusetts.

Power of Flowers is a 501-c-3 charitable organization established in 2009 with a mission to share hope and happiness by providing a kind connection to seniors and veterans in care communities. The dedicated volunteers repurpose donated flowers into bouquets and deliver these gifts to provide an unexpected moment of joy and improve the well-being of a vulnerable population.  Located on the grounds of Tewksbury State Hospital, the organization collaborates with 175 floral donors benefitting 75 care communities in cities and towns located throughout the Merrimack Valley and in Southern NH.
