COVID-19 Vaccine Information
The State has entered the third tier of immunizations within Phase 1 of the distribution plan. Currently, hospital personnel, persons living in long term care facilities, first responders such as Police and Fire, and congregate care facilities are being immunized. The third tier of Phase 1 includes home-based health care workers such as visiting nurses and home health aides.
The state has designed this plan to address populations that are at the most risk of complications such as COVID-19. While we understand there are many people with questions and who want to be vaccinated, the Town must follow the State’s vaccination plan. The Town does not have a supply of the vaccine but is working on plans on how residents will access the COVID-19 Vaccine according to the state’s phased distribution plan.
