Vote!

Batten down the hatches. Pandemic or no pandemic, the 2021 Tewksbury Municipal Election promises to be electric.

There are guaranteed to be contested races for School Committee and Board of Selectmen, with open seats available on both and multiple challengers having already tossed their hats into the ring.

For the Board of Selectmen, incumbent Mark Kratman is seeking a third term but Brian Dick has chosen not to seek re-election, opening the door for new (and familiar) faces. Former Selectman Todd Johnson, former Board of Health member George Ferdinand, Collin McNaught, and James Mackey have all taken out nomination papers. All but Johnson have had their papers certified already.

For School Committee, incumbent James Cutelis will be seeking another 3-year term, while incumbent Scott Wilson (who is filling the remainder of Dennis Francis' term) has not yet taken out papers. However, the field of candidates if plentiful, with Bridget Garabedian, Nicholas Parsons and Deborah Wall all having taken out nomination papers.
