Tewksbury Library Summer Lecture Series

Every Tuesday This Summer!

The library is organizing interesting lectures every Tuesday night, generally from 7pm to 8pm. July lectures will highlight the beautiful culture of India, including a classical Indian dance performance (July 11, 7pm), a discussion of the history of Mehndi with free henna tattoos (July 18, 7:30pm), and a slideshow travel presentation through the tea lands of India with a free tea tasting. (July 25, 7pm). August lectures will focus on outer space, with a preview of the upcoming total solar eclipse (August 1, 8:15pm), a discussion on the search for alien life (August 8, 7pm), a star gazing session with the Northshore Amateur Astronomy Club (August 15, 8pm), a visit from a NASA Solar System Ambassador to discuss findings from recent missions (August 22, 7pm), and a discussion of the history of the telescope from an engineer who worked on the Hubble (August 29, 7pm).
