The library is welcoming authors every Thursday night, from 7pm to 8pm. Visiting authors include activist Chuck Collins (“Born on Third Base: A One Percenter Makes the Case for Tackling Inequality”) on July 6; singer Valerie Giglio (“Singing In My Own Key: A Vocalist’s Triumph Over Stroke”), followed by a 30-minute concert, on July 13; veteran Michael Anthony (“Civilianized: A Young Veteran’s Memoir”) on July 20; lawyer Alexandria Marzano-Lesnevich (“The Fact Of A Body: A Murder And A Memoir”) on July 27; green cleaning expert Leslie Reichert (“The Joy of Green Living”) on August 3; comedian Randy Ross (“God Bless Cambodia”) on August 10; Dr. Andrew Budson (“Seven Steps To Managing Your Memory: What’s Normal, What’s Not, and What To Do About It”) on August 17; historian Robert Wilhelm (“Wicked Victorian Boston”) on August 24; and financial adviser Alice Finn (“Smart Women Love Money: 5 Simple, Life-Changing Rules of Investing”) on August 31. A book selling and signing will follow each event for those interested. No book purchase is required.
