The Boy Scouts of America is one of the nation’s largest and most prominent values-based youth development organizations. The BSA provides a program for young people that builds character, trains them in the responsibilities of participating citizenship, and develops personal fitness.
Duty to Country is one of the pillars that the Boy Scouts is built upon. Our Troop plans to travel to Gettysburg this April to learn firsthand about the history of our country. The trip will included a visit to Independence Hall, the Liberty Bell and Valley Forge. Funds raised through this wreath sale will help defray the cost of trips such as this which will enable the troop to continue to combine educational activities and lifelong values with fun. The Boy Scouts of America believes — and, through over a century of experience, knows — that helping youth is a key to building a more conscientious, responsible, and productive society.
