'SOUP'er BOWL SUNDAY
A fundraiser to support a group of Tewksbury youth; they will participate in a mission trip to the Lakota Native American Reservation, South Dakota the summer of 2019
This summer, a group of mostly school aged children from our community will travel on a mission trip to one of the country’s poorest Native American reservations: Pine Ridge, South Dakota. While there, they will engage in work projects and demonstrate God’s love while also being immersed in Native American culture. They will have many opportunities to learn from the community, to better understand the history, and experience the rich culture.
There is a fundraiser to help defray the costs of the trip, ‘SOUP’er BOWL SUNDAY, from 11:00 a.m. to noon on Sunday, February 3rd, 2019, at Tewksbury Congregational Church. A large variety of homemade soup, chili, and stew will be available by the bowl or quart. This will be a free will offering with a suggested donation of $10/quart and $5/pint.
Please stop by and meet some of the kids, purchase some soup, and support a very good cause.
Please contact us if you want to more information on the mission trip, the fundraiser, or if your child might want to come with us on the trip.
