Annual "Celebrating Recovery" Breakfast

Lowell House Recovery Breakfast

Few people understand substance use disorder and mental health issues better than Stephen Kennedy Smith. As the son of Jean Kennedy and the nephew of Jack, Robert and Teddy Kennedy, he has the first-hand experience of how these diseases can run through a family and through multiple generations. As a lawyer, professor, and entrepreneur, he has made a major impact on addiction treatment services. "Stepping Into Their Shoes" is a special presentation recounting his amazing journey and celebrates a new film done with filmmaker James Wahlberg on people with SUD entitled "In Their Shoes." This special morning will also include the LHATR Voices of Recovery telling their unique stories of vigilance and hope and a guest appearance by The Drug Story Theater.
